Hi, Everyone!

What a GREAT start to the school year! The kids are adjusting and adapting so well- rockstars! If you notice that you have tired kids at home, that's normal as we settle into the routine! 😉 

*PLANNERS: Today students will begin the daily task of completing an assignment planner. We will do this in class each day. As we work with your child on planning, prioritizing, and organzing, please SIGN your child's planner nightly. Thank you for working with us! We will keep the planner updated daily. Thank you for your support! Trailblazers Planner

*Attendance: If your child will be late to school or leaving early, 👉please email Mrs. Wendy Ellis in the office at: cwattendance@fhps.net. 👈Thank you.

*BOOKS: Please remind your child to bring his/her media center books back and forth to school each day. Thanks!📚

Trail Map 8/24

 Hi Everyone, We had a great first week of school! We spent a lot of time this week getting to know your kids and learning about how we do things here at Central Woodlands. We're geared up for an amazing year of learning as Trailblazers! Read on for this week's announcements. Next week we will begin running our regular schedule and start the first unit of every subject. Here is our weekly schedule . This is subject to change (and likely will change!) as we figure out what works and what does not work.  Next week we will start sending home a daily planner, likely beginning on Tuesday or Wednesday. We're asking students to get parent signatures every night for the first quarter. If we feel it is no longer needed, we'll stop requiring signatures after that (you are, of course, welcome to continue this expectation with your own child). 5th Grade Update

 It's Halloween week! 👻Today we reminded students to carry their costumes in their bags to school tomorrow if they'd like to wear one. We will change into them later in the afternoon, and they will need to be independent with their changing. Please no elaborate or gory make up or play weapons. We have some fun activities planned and a treat at the end of the day!🎃 Thank you to everyone for coming to conferences last week and for partnering in your students' learning. We also appreciate our camp chaperones--it was a great time at Camp Roger! See this  Google Drive folder  for pictures we've taken or received so far.
